Newstripe’s AeroVent 3, aerosol can disposal system quickly punctures and drains up to three aerosol cans at once reducing the cost of hazardous waste disposal.
"We process an average of 1000 cans with our AeroVent 3. It paid for itself the first time we used it." Dawn Whipple, Waste Manager Program Manager, City of Austin, Texas
The AeroVent 3 is:Fast and Simple to Use. It is the only aerosol can disposal machine that punctures and drains three cans at a time making it the FASTEST AVAILABLE. Simply open the lid and place the cans in the machine. Then close the lid with the convenient handle/clamp. This automatically seals the chamber and punctures the aerosol cans at the same time. Wait 10-15 seconds for the pressure and liquids to evacuate. Open the lid and remove the cans - It is that simple!Economical. The AeroVent 3 aerosol can disposal machine will quickly pay for itself. You eliminate the very high cost of hazardous waste disposal, and you can actually make money by selling the processed aerosol cans as recyclable scrap metal.Safe. The AeroVents' 3 unique design totally seals the chamber and pushes the cans onto the non-sparking cobalt bit with one stroke. Unlike other machines there is no interchanging of special clamps or covers for different can sizes and no o-rings to wear out and cause leakage. Also, the interior components and cobalt piercing bits are non-sparking and designed for safety. Drained fluids are collected in the enclosed drum for later disposal, and an activated carbon filter is screwed into the barrel's small bung opening to absorb VOC's and harmful vapors. The replaceable carbon filter is a cartridge design and is easily changed. Each filter cartridge can handle up to 600 aerosol cans before changing is required.Versatile. The AeroVent 3 has a unique tray design that accepts a variety of aerosol can sizes up to 3" diameter and 10" length with just one tray. Quick change plastic can guides are easily changed for different aerosol can sizes making the AeroVent 3 a one-size fits all disposal system.Environmentally Friendly. Under EPA guidelines 40CFR 261-268, the processed aerosol cans may now be disposed of as non-hazardous waste (thrown into the dumpster) or may be recycled and sold as scrap metal (profits). Rugged. Manufactured from electrical arc welded structural steel and industrial grade components, the AeroVents are virtually indestructible. They are backed by a 18 month limited warranty, the longest in the industry.
